Q. What is your minimum order value? A. Alliance Plastics Finishing Products requires a $100 minimum order on standard colors and in-stock parts. Q. What is your standard lead-time for parts? A. If the part you order is in stock, then we can get it out to you as early as next day if you place your order before 1pm PST. If the part is not in stock, then the standard quoted lead-time is four (4) weeks. Q. Can I buy less than a full box quantity? A. Yes, we will break boxes but there is an $15 box-breaking fee that will be added to your order. Q. Can I pay for my order using credit card? A. Yes. As an added convenience to our customers, Alliance Plastics Finishing Products will now accept MasterCard and Visa up to the credit limit of the credit card. Q. I used to purchase injection molded furniture parts from ITW Plastiglide but they no longer carry those parts. Can you supply me with those products? A. Yes, in January 1998 Alliance Plastics Finishing Products acquired the Plastiglide injection molded furniture product line of ITW Fastex and added many of its standard parts to the product portfolio. Please call our customer service department toll-free on 888-867-2737 or fill out our online form and quote the original Plastiglide part number and we will be happy to find that part for you. Q. I'm not sure if your part will fit. Do you offer free samples for trial purposes? A. Of course, in fact we encourage our customers to request free samples prior to ordering to make sure it will provide the right solution for your particular application. Simply call us toll-free on 888-867-2737 or request samples using our online sample request form. Q. Sometimes I require parts that are quite large in size. What are your press size capabilities? A. We have molding presses within the company that range in size from 28 Tons up to 750 Tons. Therefore, in most cases we have the in-house capability to mold parts ranging from just a few millimeters on up to several feet in size. Q. What type of materials do you mold? A. In addition to the more common thermoplastic materials such as LDPE, and HDPE, Alliance Plastics Finishing Products also molds using many of the "Engineering Plastics". We have broad experience and routinely mold parts in Nylon, ABS, Butyrate, Styrene, TPR, Acetal and Urethane. We also have expertise in molding products in composite materials such as glass-filled Nylon. Q. Is technical and design assistance available to your customers? A. Yes. Using state-of-the-art technology, Alliance Plastics Finishing Products can provide you with a complete in-house service, from part design and tool building to molding and secondary finishing operations. Q. Can I email my engineering files to you for quote? A. Yes, our engineering team uses the latest version of Pro-Engineer CAD software, which allows them to view most common engineering files.
