Alliance Plastics Finishing Products was originally founded as Thinking Plastics, Inc. in 1985. It became part of the 
Filtrona PLC of world class manufacturing companies in 1997, and expanded in 1998 through the acquisition of ITW's Plastiglide injection molded product line of furniture components.
Alliance Plastics Finishing Products is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of plastic finishing components such as tube inserts, glides, table grommets, shutter pins, seat post bushings, caps, bumpers, rivets and nylon fasteners . Although a dominant supplier to the furniture industry, Alliance Plastics Finishing Products also supplies proprietary products and custom components to a wide variety of markets.
Through use of the latest automated process monitoring techniques coupled with state-of-the-art mold design, engineering and manufacturing technologies, Alliance Plastics Finishing Products has been assessed and registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and ANSI/ASQC Q9001 since 1998.
